Rather than coming back for each room, we plan a whole-house visit and apply the multi-unit discount. Families often call us about a musty smell in a child's bedroom. That is usually mould on the coil and blower, and a chemical wash clears it. Most requested here: Aircon Chemical Wash [/aircon-chemical-wash/ →](/aircon-chemical-wash/) . You can see every price on our full price list [/pricing/ →](/pricing/) . ### Areas we cover - USJ - SS15 - SS19 - Bandar Sunway - Subang Jaya town - Putra Heights Postcodes we cover: 47500, 47600, 47610, 47620, 47630 Local authority: Majlis Bandaraya Subang Jaya (MBSJ) Diagnose Your Aircon Issue ## Musty Rooms or Weak Cooling in Subang Jaya? The local problem we see most ### Musty children's rooms in Subang's 1970s and 80s terraces One bedroom smells damp or sour the moment the aircon turns on, and the kids wake up with blocked noses. **Why it happens here:** The terraces here went up between 1976 and 1988, many with 3 to 5 units each. With humidity averaging around 81%, bedroom units that run every night grow mould on the blower wheel. **How we fix it:** An aircon chemical wash clears the coil and blower; if the smell returns, an aircon overhaul strips the unit down fully. ### Blowing Warm Air Usually a choked coil, low gas from a leak, or a failed capacitor. We test pressure and amp draw so you only pay for the real fix. Why your aircon is not cold → [/guide/why-is-my-aircon-not-cold/ →](/guide/why-is-my-aircon-not-cold/) ### Water Leaking Inside Slimy "aircon jelly" blocks the drain pan and pipe until water runs down your wall. A flush or chemical wash clears it. Fix a leaking aircon → [/guide/aircon-leaking-water-inside/ →](/guide/aircon-leaking-water-inside/) ### Musty or Mouldy Smell Mould grows on the damp coil and blower wheel. Air freshener hides it. A chemical wash removes it. Why your aircon smells → [/guide/why-does-my-aircon-smell-bad/ →](/guide/why-does-my-aircon-smell-bad/) ### High Electricity Bill A dirty unit runs longer to reach the set temperature, and your TNB bill shows it. The team arrived, checked gas pressure, cleaned the indoor unit, and explained what they were doing without talking down. Not the cheapest, but the work felt proper." Jobs near **Subang Parade**, **SS15** and **Bandar Sunway** are planned around school runs and the evening jam near the **KTM Subang Jaya** station. Because most homes here have several units, we book a longer slot for one team so the whole house is done in a single visit. Our 24-hour response guarantee applies across all USJ sections, and weekend slots are popular with working families. ### Landmarks and routes we use - Subang Parade - Sunway Pyramid - Summit USJ - KTM Subang Jaya station Reached via the Federal Highway, KESAS, ELITE and the LDP, with the LRT running through SS15 and USJ. ![Outdoor aircon units on condo ledges and terrace house walls](/images/content/outdoor-aircon-units-mounted-on-malaysian-condo-le.webp) ## Terraces, Families and Musty Bedrooms Most Subang Jaya and USJ jobs look alike, and we've got the routine down. - **Double-storey terraces with 3 to 5 units.** Living room, master bedroom and two or three smaller rooms. A whole-house general service at RM120 per wall unit, with the multi-unit discount, is the usual booking. - **Children's rooms with a musty smell.** Units that run every night build mould on the blower wheel and slime in the drain pan. A chemical wash [/aircon-chemical-wash/ →](/aircon-chemical-wash/) from RM160 clears it, and our coil-safe solution is fully rinsed so the room is fine to use the same day. - **Condos and apartments in Bandar Sunway and SS15.** Student and young-professional rentals. Landlords often book every unit between tenancies. If a unit keeps smelling even after a wash, the blower may need a full overhaul [/aircon-overhaul/ →](/aircon-overhaul/) (RM180 to RM220), and we'll tell you if that's the case. Most of these terraces were built between 1976 and 1988, so many houses are on their second or third set of units, often a mix of old and new models. Yes. Most terraces here have 3 to 5 units, so we book one long slot for a single team and apply the multi-unit discount. Which USJ sections and postcodes do you cover? All of them: USJ, SS15, SS19, Bandar Sunway, Putra Heights and the town centre, across postcodes 47500, 47600, 47610, 47620 and 47630. Why does my child's bedroom aircon smell sour? Mould grows on the blower wheel of units that run every night, helped by average humidity of around 81%. A chemical wash from RM160 removes it; a normal service cannot reach the blower. Is the chemical wash safe for a kid's room? Yes. Our coil-safe solution is rinsed off completely, then the unit is test-run. Open a window for a few minutes and the room is ready the same day. What does a whole terrace service cost? RM120 per wall unit for a general service, less the multi-unit discount. Send the number of units and their HP and we will WhatsApp back an exact total. How often should bedroom units in a USJ family home be serviced? Night-time bedroom units every 3 to 4 months, with a chemical wash once or twice a year. Rooms used less can go longer. Do you service student rentals in Bandar Sunway? Yes. Landlords near Sunway Pyramid often book every unit between tenants, and we can arrange access with your agent. ### Still have a question?
